Sean is such a great teacher. He has brought me to a new level in my piano playing. The way he encourages me with my playing is so wonderful. I have learned so much from Sean since he has been my teacher. Diane

It's only been 6 months since he started, but my 5 year old son has truly amazed us with how well he can read music and even play a few songs. It's all because of the amazing teachers he has had at The Piano Studio. Thank you all for your hard work. What a wonderful experience this has been!

Just wanted to tell you what a lovely job you did on the recital! Thank-you! My only complaint...you truly spoiled Erin by allowing her to play on that gorgeous piano...its tough for her to go back to the one she has here at home :) (just kidding, of course). Thanks again for giving these children the opportunity to practice their courage, build their confidence and showcase their skills in front of a large audience. It was a lovely evening that went so smoothly!

I hope you don't mind me friending you on Facebook. I used to take piano lessons at The Piano Studio, and I have fond memories of it. Now at 28, I continue to look back and think of my tremendous growth and development I underwent from then until now. The education and encouragement I had during that time has certainly made a positive impact on my life. I'm so happy to see you still run The Piano Studio for Kids.
Attached is a photo of Lisa and I at my Piano recital! If you wanted me to send them, I also have some more photos when I had Pam as a teacher and won "Player of the Year." One of my brightest highlights from my childhood.

Dear Mrs. Bush, s a community member in the Northport area and an educator, I come across many individuals and have many interactions with parents, children and teachers. I decided that all too often we receive information that is negative in nature, those words are heard loud and clear, they "dip our buckets" as one would say. Well I have come across a "bucket filler" and wanted to spread the word. My children have been receiving piano lessons at the Piano Studio for kids in Greenlawn for a few years. The experience that they have had has been not only positive, it has been nurturing, and individualized to their individual needs. They attend weekly lessons with instructors that are sweet, caring and knowledgeable. Recently, my daughter has fallen behind on her preparation for her NYSSMA solo. The owner of the studio, Diane Garetano, has scheduled her for extra lessons throughout the week, she has checked on her practice sessions, video-taped her playing to listen to it at other times, and rearranged her schedule to accommodate my daughters schedule. The growth and confidence that has developed in my child over the last few weeks has been wonderful to watch. That is why I am writing this letter, Diane has nurtured my daughter without being asked. She is a highly gifted piano teacher running a business that builds confidence in children, giving them an outlet, and bringing music to the lives of children and adults. So kudos and thank you to someone who is giving back to the children of this community!
